چکیده

We re-examine the problem of decomposing systems in Event-B. We develop a pattern for cross-cutting events and invariants that enables the core dependencies in multi-machine systems to be tracked. We give the essential verification conditions.

SAR Image De-Noising Based on Shift Invariant K-SVD and Guided Filter

Finding a way to effectively suppress speckle in SAR images has great significance. K-means singular value decomposition (K-SVD) has shown great potential in SAR image de-noising. However, the traditional K-SVD is sensitive to the position and phase of the characteristics in the image, and the de-noised image by K-SVD has lost some detailed information of the original image. In this paper, we p...

Determining the order of minimal realization of descriptor systems without use of the Weierstrass canonical form

A common method to determine the order of minimal realization of a continuous linear time invariant descriptor system is to decompose it into slow and fast subsystems using the Weierstrass canonical form. The Weierstrass decomposition should be avoided because it is generally an ill-conditioned problem that requires many complex calculations especially for high-dimensional systems. The present ...

Perturbation bounds for $g$-inverses with respect to the unitarily invariant norm

Let complex matrices $A$ and $B$ have the same sizes. Using the singular value decomposition, we characterize the $g$-inverse $B^{(1)}$ of $B$ such that the distance between a given $g$-inverse of $A$ and the set of all $g$-inverses of the matrix $B$ reaches minimum under the unitarily invariant norm. With this result, we derive additive and multiplicative perturbation bounds of the nearest per...

A Study on linear time-invariant Transistor Circuit using Adomian Decomposition Method

In this paper, Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) is used to study the linear time-invariant transistor circuit. The results obtained using Adomian Decomposition Method and the methods taken from the literature [5] were compared with the exact solutions of the linear time-invariant transistor circuit. It is found that the solution obtained using the Adomian Decomposition Method is closer to the...

Design of Observer-based Fault Detection Systems for Continuous-time Systems from Frequency Domain Data

This paper presents an approach to design observer-based fault detection (FD) systems for continuous linear time-invariant systems directly from frequency domain data. The design doesn’t need knowledge of system model. The computation mainly consists in a singular value decomposition (SVD) and a QR decomposition. The proposed approach is finally illustrated by an example. Copyright c ©2005 IFAC
